You need the [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ParserFunctions Extension: Parser Functions]

* Import it from [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Export this page of Wikipedia] and enter this text: '''Template:Infobox''' in the BIG BOX, check the Includes Templates box. press Export Button.

* A file will be downloaded to your computer.

* Go to your wiki and go to this page: '''www.yourwiki.com/index.php/Special:Import''' and upload the file you just downloaded.

All the templates required for displaying the [http://en.wikipedia.org/index.php/Template:Infobox Template:Infobox] will be created in your wiki.

The problem with the Mediawiki Infobox is that needs an special extension called tidy which according to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:TRAN WikiProject Transwiki] sometimes it is not configured in the same way as Wikipedia.

*So [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:TRAN they] proposed to edit in your wiki this two new created templates and replace the code with the following ones

[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Transwiki/Template:Navbar Template:Navbar]

[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Transwiki/Template:Infobox Template:Infobox]

Now it should work.
