Appropriate time
- Trekking: The official opening season of the Aconcagua Provincial Park for both ascent and trekking is from November 15 to March 15 and from March 16 to April 30, considering the latter, winter season special.
- Randonnée: Admission is also allowed during the winter season, from May 1 to November 14, considering restricted winter season (check the income during this season).
The entrance time to the Park is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Access
Access by car
From Mendoza there are 180 km of paved road, you have to take the RN 40 south direction, to 25 km the RN 7 is connected to Chile, when you reach the town of Puente del Inca you continue 3 km more until you reach the entrance to the Park, from here 1 km of paved road to the Visitor's Care Center.
Departing from Mendoza you do not have to carry out customs immigration procedures at the Horcones Border Center, YES for those who come from Chile, since they have to go to Mendoza to complete the procedures for entering the Park.
Access by public transport
There are public transport companies that leave from the bus terminal of Mendoza to Puente del Inca and las Cuevas.
There are also private contracted transport companies that make trips to the park.
